"We have families who are unable to send their children to school with adequate or any food. One of our year 7 boys, who only brings food once every couple of weeks, now he comes and fills his lunch box each morning before school starts. It means, at break times he looks like everyone else in his class. Previously, his behaviour was not only an intrusive issue for his learning but interrupted that of the whole class. This is no longer a major issue, his attention and participation in class has increased, and a new self-confidence has had a marked effect on his learning," Principal, KidsCan Partner School.
